NATIONAL CONVENIENCE STORE CHAIN OF THE YEAR CONTINUES GROWTH FEATURES TOP QUALITY FOOD & BEST COFFEE IN AMERICA
NORTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — QuickChek, a leader in food services with an exceptional fresh coffee and fresh food program that has been voted the best in America, is opening its newest store in North Brunswick.
The Whitehouse Station, NJ-based fresh convenience market chain opened a new 5,496–square-foot store located at 1196 How Lane on Tuesday, February 21. It is the first of several planned store openings in 2017. Among the grand opening promotions patrons can enjoy free large hot coffee from Feb. 21-March 5, 2017.
The new North Brunswick store will be open 24 hours a day, enabling customers to create delicious handcrafted oven-toasted fresh subs, sandwiches, wraps and salads and personalized hot and cold beverages exactly as they want them, any time of day or night. Amenities include no-fee ATMs which provide additional added value to consumers; indoor seating for 13 people and outdoor seating for eight; eight gasoline pumps offering high-quality fuel at value prices; and 59 parking spaces.
The new store creates 45 new local jobs, including eight management positions. Each new QuickChek location typically generates approximately $1 million in tax revenues, adding to its positive impact on the local economy.
“We look forward to serving this busy market by providing our high quality, great tasting food and beverages close to where our customers live and work,” said QuickChek CEO Dean Durling, whose family-owned company was named the 2016 Convenience Store Chain of the Year by Convenience Store Decisions magazine.
The honor is the latest of many food service and innovation awards the company has received; it was a Gold Medal winner for food service innovation last year and its coffee was voted best in America in a national consumer survey by Technomic in 2014.
QuickChek offers handcrafted quality, guaranteed.
In addition to its renowned coffee wall, the new store will feature a Q Café where friendly baristas will custom-make more than 60 varieties of handcrafted hot and iced cold drinks, including blended-to-order fruit smoothies and fresh-brewed espressos brewed with QuickChek’s Dark Roast espresso beans in regular, decaf and extra shots.
New food service menu innovations include eight varieties of breakfast burritos featuring the new Pepper Jack burrito, and a variety of shredded potato bowls made with home style potatoes with a choice of mouthwatering toppings such as Bacon & Cheese, Hearty Beef Chili and Ghost Pepper Chicken.
QuickChek stores provide one-stop shopping, offering a wide variety of grocery and market items including fresh baked goods from an in-store bakery and excellent customer service provided by locally hired team members. The company continues to expand its mobile ordering menu to meet the needs of today’s on-the-go consumer.
Modern by industry standards, the privately-held company maintains bright clean stores, well-lighted fuel stations and parking lots with wide, easy-to-use entrances and exits that add to a shopper’s convenience.
Committed to giving back to the communities it serves, QuickChek will donate $0.25 for every sub, sandwich and wrap sold in the store from February 21-March 20, 2017 to the North Brunswick Baseball & Softball Association.
Grand Opening promotions include free large hot coffee and free 20-ounce iced coffee offered to all patrons and free 20-ounce fountain or QuickFreeze drinks for children 5-feet-tall-and-under from February 21-March 5, 2017. All 6-inch subs are $2.99 for a limited time and all handcrafted smoothies and espresso drinks are $1.99 for a limited time.
Consumers can enjoy additional convenience and savings at any of the company’s 148 store locations throughout New Jersey, the Hudson Valley and Long Island by downloading the QuickChek mobile app at https://staging.quickchek.com/qc-mobile-app/. Loyal customers are also rewarded with a free coffee after they purchase six coffees.
